Nikta Niazi

MA ,Registered Clinical Counselor, Certified Hypnotherapist, Life-Coach

I am originally from Iran, where my passion for understanding the human mind and psychology began during my early teenage years. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in Iran. Afterward, I pursued my master’s degree in counselling psychology in Canada, at Trinity Western University. I’ve been residing in Vancouver, Canada since 2018.

I’m a registered clinical counsellor with BCACC (RCC) and a full member with Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis (CSCH). Additionally, I have completed professional training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neurofeedback, and Stress Management. I am experienced in working with other approaches such as AEDP, ACT, IFS and DBT, Psychodynamic and Existential therapy. I will borrow from these modalities according to your need in the session and will tailor my approach fittingly by openly seeking your feedback and making change anywhere needed.

I specialize in addressing various mental health issues, including traumas related to immigration or sudden life changes, relationship issues, self-esteem, personal development, self-harm, emotion regulation, decision making, identity issues and more.

My unique qualities include being bilingual in English and Farsi, offering counseling in both languages, and adhering to a holistic approach in therapy. I tailor strategies to meet each client’s specific needs, providing a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment for exploration and growth.

During sessions with me, clients can expect a safe and welcoming space where they can freely explore their thoughts and emotions. I bring a non-judgmental and empathic presence. I utilize thought-provoking questions and constructive challenges to facilitate “aha moments” and deeper self-understanding. Together, we navigate life’s complexities and work towards achieving positive changes.
